Rob & Sumo - Nightclub Bouncers

 

They always say that if you're going to make fun of anything, it's best to pull the piss out of something you know something about, so with that thought firmly in mind I set about creating a comic strip about my fellow Door Stewards. 

 

So after much torn up and scrapped bits of paper, input and derision from others and a mouthful of pro-plus, I finally came up with Rob & Sumo.  Now, before I get torn into by anyone who knows me these characters are based on no individuals! They are however based on parts of people that I've worked with in the past, which keeps me nicely away from getting sued.. 

 

So, onto the comic!

 

Isn't it always the case where jokes always seem funnier in your head than they do when you write them down?  Well, that's what happened with this strip.  It seemed like such a good idea, and some people seemed to like it!  Not too bad for a first attempt though, hope you like it. 

 

(And if you don't, then you might like the HULKS DIARY THAT IS ON THE INTERNET!! )
