Hello and welcome to Door Network!

By the time you've arrived on this page, you've probably already had a good nosey around the rest of the site first, dipping your toes into our articles, having a laugh at the piss poor quality of the comic strip, wondering what in the hell DNTV is all about.. So here's the lowdown.

We're about having some fun.  Many sites that focus on our industry online have a very serious edge to them.  Some try to promote themselves as industry voices and stifle the content or output of their members, others try to rip every loose penny you have out of your pocket to pay for 'enhanced' features, or extra content.. Not here at DNUK.  We want you to come here, relax and have a laugh either with us, or at us.

Outsiders see our profession as a very serious, aggressive one, looking at the 'Bouncer' as being the mortal enemy when you're out on the piss.  We see ourselves though as friends, fathers, mothers, people just wanting to pay the bills by standing on a club doorway of an evening! But most of all working the doors gives you a strong bond with those working beside you.. A job that's full of wind-ups and piss takes, ribbings and vicious slander.  But a job that's full of the best friends you'll ever make.

So that's what we here at DNUK focus on, the fun side of the job. Giving you the best of the wind-ups, the piss pulls and the self harming.

Sure, the forums can get a bit bitchy now and again, and several toys get launched out of prams on a regular basis, yet how many forums online can you say this doesn't happen in?  Yet we're lucky to have some great members who contribute a lot to the site.  And don't think you just have to be a steward to become a member of DNUK!  No no, we welcome all and sundry to our site with open arms. (unless you're a law student, then you can go take a running shit!)
